Members of Help Save Manassas sign a pledge that they will not employ illegal aliens, or do business with entities that employ them. In order to help members keep their pledge, local businesses are signing up with our "Do The Right Thing" program so folks know where to steer their business.

The "Do The Right Thing" Pledge

1. As a local business owner in Manassas, Manassas Park or Prince William County, I vow not to trade the future, security and fair wages due my fellow Americans in exchange for cheap, illegal labor. I do not and shall not knowingly employ or contract with an illegal alien, nor have I nor will I enter into a contract with a subcontractor that knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien.

2. I will do everything in my power to verify the legal status of everyone I employ, regardless of the nature or duration of their job, and I will not hire or otherwise employ anyone who is not legal to work in the United States or anyone whose legal status I cannot adequately verify. I will use all resources at my disposal, both state and federal, to verify legal status of potential employees.

3. In my dealings with suppliers, service providers, and other businesses, I will endeavor to work with only those that similarly refuse to hire illegal aliens.
